Concerts Re-Imagined

Since 2009, we have been dreaming up ever-new ways to create concerts, focusing audience experience, particularly in how to enable a powerful, visceral physical experience of sound. Every concert is unique, created around the particular qualities of the venue and repertoire, all designed for a welcoming audience experience.

Dawson Celebration

William Levi Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony was the focus of our May 2022 concert. Until recently, this tremendous work has been largely ignored since its premiere, with approximately one performance per year. In the spirit of our Smyth recording, EXO is working to promote and celebrate this tremendous work with the hopes that other orchestras will perform the piece.
